2009 is a monumental year.
This April 14 will mark 20 years since Candi died.
It is a weird thought that she has now been gone longer than she was alive.
I am not sad today... I miss Candi, but I am not sad.
I celebrate Candi in every way I can...
and this year brings a monumental anniversary.
It is an anniversary I wish we weren't aware of,
but since it's Candi's anniversary,
I will remember it with love!

Such cute picture!
I am going to celebrate! Candi was a gift from God. Her life was so special, filled with laughter, adventure and most of all LOVE. Candi loved everybody she came in contact with.

She really was a gift. Words that come to mind as I think of her: loving, brave, sincere, enthusiastic and kind. I miss her still to this day. She taught me so much then when I had the privilege of being her friend, and she continues to teach me now. She lived and loved abundantly.
