Fun Memories of Candi

While at Candi's Reunion, and thanks to Facebook,
I have come to hear a few more stories about Candi.

Here is a picture of Candi being "Lucy" from her Junior High play,
"You're a Good Man Charlie Brown"
Here she is with "Schroeder".
If you don't know the story, "Lucy" has a crush on "Schroeder"

Candi didn't really have a singing voice, so when she had to have a singing part of the play, they decided it would be funny for her to sing "really bad" and this is the story that "Schroeder",
aka Michael, told me after the reunion...

"Candi tried so hard to get me to laugh while we were doing those scenes.
A few times, she came very close to succeeding!"

Here's another picture of the play group...
Here "Lucy" is scolding "Charlie Brown" during rehearsals.

"Woodstock" is in the background... it was played by Kimberly
and here's a picture of me with both Michael and Kimberly, plus Julia, at the reunion.

This was a really fun story to hear from Wade, on the left:

"I can finally confess to you and your parents
that Candi did in fact ditch 3 times to go to the beach with us. ;-)"
thanks, Wade... that was fun to hear!

This is Gena... I didn't really remember her, but she had the most wonderful stories to share with me... she remembered Candi and my family very well. Thank you, Gena, for your memories of Candi!

I don't know if you remember me, but I'm pretty sure you and Candi used to babysit me and my sister, Teresa. I'm Denielle's daughter. She gave me your blog website. I love it and think you are a very special, loving, and dedicated sister. My blog "Raising a Healthy Child" is www.amikolaycik.blogspot if you want to check it out sometime. I don't know if you have any children, but if you do hopefully you will find it a good resource. I haven't posted in awhile, but hope to again soon. Take care.
